Dear Friends of LINC North Texas –
After much prayer and discussion we, the Board of Directors of LINC North Texas, have made the very tough decision to wind down operations, release our staff, and take a ‘holy’ pause in the life of our ministry to be still.
“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10
We have so many things to celebrate over the last 20 years of ministry to the underserved in both urban and suburban areas. There are many special stories and memories that are important to so many of us who have worked alongside, prayed, supported, given, and served our ministry.
- Community centers
- Camps and mission trips for children and youth
- Faith communities planted
- Innovation ideas for mission
- Art galleries
- Church plants
- Individual and family counseling
- ESL classes
- Restorative work with persons facing addiction
- Student Advancement and Leadership Initiative (SALI)
- Faith and Finances
And many more ways God has used us to reach those He loves…
Your presence in the life of our ministry has been of great value, encouragement, and a blessing to our team. We want to say thank you for partnering with us in the work the Lord has done through us during this season of ministry.
We expect that God will again raise up faithful leadership to continue His work of serving those that are underserved in North Texas and to bring gospel hope and make His holy name great and honored among all nations and throughout the world.
Please stay connected with us as we will be communicating in coming weeks how Faith and Finances will be moving forward. We will also be introducing you to our ministry partners who will be taking over the work of SALI (Student Advancement and Leadership Initiative), our public school character and leadership program.
At the end of May, we turned off our online giving portal. Your mailed donations in June and July will continue to help us support our remaining staff and wind down with integrity and attention to detail.
May the Lord bless and keep you, The LINC North Texas Board
